How do I replace the handle on a GE microwave oven?

The handle on my GE Microwave oven broke off. How do I replace the handle? The upper part of the handle is easy because I just need to remove the screw on the inside door of the microwave. My problem is how do I attach the lower part of the door handle? I do not see a screw for it on the inside door of the microwave? Help!

1. the door has to be separated to allow you to see the lower screw. the best thing is to try and find a picture of the door, on a parts house web site, so you can see the inside of the door, then take out the outer screws and the plastic frame cover. that should get you inside the door and then you will find the lower screw.
2. Don't be surprised if they don't sell you the part. Whenever a door is removed it has to be leak checked with a calibrated meter.
