Microwave Problems

Microwave working well but not heating up the food. What is the problem?

Hi, recently my microwave is not heating up the food. Everything are working well accept the food is not heating up. Can someone tell me what is the problem to my microwave? which part is faulty?

1. If your microwave isn't heating up the food, why do you say everything is working well? Do you mean the screen & buttons & such?
2. How is it working well if it's not heating up? That's what it does!

4. If the motor rotates the oven dish, and the light is on, make sure that the heat setting-knob is not loose on its spindle. If all is well, but still not heating food, the 'Magnetron', i.e.,the electronic heater might be at fault. Have it checked by a qualified technician.
5. it sounds like the heating element is broke. This is what generates the heat to cook the food. You will need to take it to someone or look up on net how to fix it. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new one. If you take it to someone just tell them the heating element is not working
