Microwave Problems

How can i melt Nair Microwave Wax (read the details below)?

It says on the leaflet not to use defrost or cook when melting the wax in the microwave. The problem is that our microwave doesn't have the button for heating. It has only defrost and cook. Can i just press the cook for melting it or are there other options to melt it? Because i'm not sure if pressing the cook button will be safe. Help please!

1. whatever you do be very careful. I used that stuff, the top layer was hard still after heating, and little did I know that it was liquid underneath, stuck the stick in to mix it and sure as heck that junk squirted out through the hole and on my hand which made me drop the jar, which then splashed on my knees and dried on. went to the er cuz when I tried to get the wax off my skin, the skin came off with it, a few scripts later and emergency room fee I now only have small faint scars on my knees. its been 6 years never tried it again.
