Microwave Problems

baking homemade bread in a large microwave? good idea or not?

i am trying to save money on electricity and groceries so I decided to cook my own food. Can I make homemade bread and bake it in the microwave? I was told that it might not be edible because the microwave is normally used for reheating food. I don't mind if the bread isn't like oven baked bread but that it's edible and won't make me sick.

  1. Nooooooooooooo Lol Cooking bread in the microwave will make it kinda hard and chewy..Not good if u dont have an oven then use a bread oven :D Their fairly cheap usualy found at wal mart and such. By the way, You can save ALOT Of money by unplugging all your electronics when you go to sleep !! :) Hope that helped xD
  2. It wont make you sick unless you use tainted ingredients, but I doubt if you will be able to call it bread or eat it. It will not rise properly or brown. It will be like a large fat cracker very hard, and you might be able to use it to pound nails in the wall to hang your lovely pictures.
