Microwave Will Cook the Electronics in any thing!!!

- How about a Brain for liberal intteligince ? ugh, poor spelling and grammar just drive me up a wall ...
- Energy Density and time on target for starters.
- Would probably take WAY too much power to stop a missle. Microwaves do not have a very large wavelength (hence the name Microwave) and so do not have a very large range. Besides, even if it did work, it would only fry the guidance system and the missle would still land somewhere.....
- Not sure microwaves could stop a missle since it is just high powered radar. Lasers would be much better, explode the fuel with the heat from them. Hopefuly our anti missle missles are up to snuff as well.
- Actually (and this is true) the Japanese did that in World War II but it didin't work for long range distances (10 feet in front of them) and was big and bulky but the idea was sound, cook poeple to death! It might be possible with today's technology, but the army does the same thing with lasers so no point in doing so
- The Air Force has a chemical laser microwave electric beam weapon on a plane now. I saw it on sat. TV! The military channel.
