  1. wash it poke holes in it stick it in the microvave, 5-8 mins, flip em over 5-8 more mins and you're done, sweet potatos too!!!
  2. microwave is much faster. Oven will take about 45 minutes. Micro will take about 15 minutes. Don't forget to stab hole in them first! And it's fine to do all at once, if they fit in your micro ok. They would taste better baked in the oven though ;) :p
  3. Microwave, absolutely. Pierce them, put them on for about 7 min, turn them and about 7 min more, poke them with a fork to check if they are soft enough. I put a little water on the plate as well, to stop them from drying out while heating them.
  4. If you have 4 large potatoes it's probably quicker in the oven. One very large baked potato takes 10 mins+ to nuke, 40 mins does all 4 in the oven.
  5. Microwave is faster but skins get soggy. Nuke them for 6 to 8 minutes then bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Definitely quicker in the micro. Sometimes I wrap them in saran wrap in the micro. Keeps them moist. Also, if time allows, start in micro and finish in toaster oven/oven.
  7. microwave, its works really well too
  8. With my experience, it is quicker to use the microwave. It normally takes about 4 minutes for each potato. I only microwave one at the time. . .and wrap in foil after each one to keep them warm. You can also use the regular oven, but it will take about an hour for all 4. . .. The potatoes are fluffier in the regular oven but I am usually pressed for time, so I use the microwave.
  9. Microwave!
  10. Faster in the microwave. Get regular lunch bag like you would give your kids to take their lunch to school in. Wash your potatoes, pierce them with a fork and sprinkle with sea salt. Place in paper bag and nuke for about 15 minutes turn over and nuke about 10 minutes more. Makes the skin yummy.
  11. microwave first, only partially,5 minutes or so,then put in oven to finish,if you really ,really need them fast ,put one big [clean obviously]nail in each one, with a 1/2 inch sticking out of potato the metal attracts the heat and sends it deep into the potato, cooking it from the outside and the inside. but the best baked potatoes are baked from raw in a oven with no tinfoil for about 1 hour [don't let them burst they are overcooked then]
  12. microwave! If they are small potatoes cook for 3 minutes on each side, if they are large try 5 or 6 minutes on each side. Poke holes in them, test them with a fork.....
  13. Faster in microwave. But tastes better in oven! Polk holes in them. so they wont pop in microwave!
