Microwave Problems

I need a new microwave and I'm tempted to go with a convection microwave. Any thoughts?

My old microwave finally went after after 11 years...bummer! I know I need a high watt, large capacity 1.8 to 2.0 cu. ft. one, but I also think a convection microwave would be nice. I know I will give up between .5 and .3 cu. ft of space going with the convection. Normally, I use my microwave for reheating, however the features of a convection microwave sound nice. Any opinions?

  1. Oh most certainly the convection microwave. I can't wait for mine to die so I have a rational excuse to get one. I have convection ovens and I love them, especially during the holidays when I need to cook things a bit faster. You can make great things with a convection microwave..........go for it. And you use less energy - go green:-)
  2. Definately get a convection microwave. It is a great easy and fast way to cook small things like a mashed potatoes, baked potatoes or little casseroles.
