Microwave Problems

Are microwave combination ovens any good?

we're buying a new kitchen but having trouble fitting a full size oven and a microwave - our friends suggested we use a combination microwave oven - I'm not sure they're very good ? Are they large enough and do they cook all types of meals well? thanks

1. I have a Thermador double oven, and the top is a combo oven/microwave. Because the space inside is so large, it's slower than the $39 microwaves from WalMart, but aside from that, I have no problems with the quality. Additionally, this oven has a lot of features I like, such as a "CookSmart" feature, which combines oven heat with microwave--cuts bake time in half.
2. My friends have a double microwave and convection oven wall unit. The microwave is standard, but the oven is too small for a turkey roaster or a open roast pan for a ham or whole tenderloin of beef. Also, a half sheet pan doesn't fit if you want to make cookies.
