What would happen if I put my cell phone into the microwave?
I got my phone about a year and a half ago. Since then I have had non-stop problems with it. I was luckily enough to buy the extend warranty, but something needs to be seriously wrong with my phone in order for them to replace it. One of my friends told me last week that he had heard of someone putting their cell phone in the microwave, and it frying it. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever done this and if it's actually works? Since I use my cell phone everyday, I don't want to take the risk of them not replacing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- If they found out they definatly would not replace it. But it wld probably work, and it would probably fry the microwave with it.
- not sure, but maybe you could call your microwave before you get home, and lunch would be ready. Seriously you should call your service provider though
- Are you retarded?
- probably set of the nearest nuclear device in your area
- put it in the road until someone drives over it that usually works,
- Check the details of the extended warranty. If it covers liquid damage, or physical damage, then the solution is simple..get the phone wet, or step on it. Sounds silly, but extended warranties that cover both liquid and physical damage give you easy ways to get your phone replaced. If it's simply a manufacturer's extended warranty (only covers manufacturer issues) then keep taking it in for service until they give you a new one. Most companies have a 3 strike rule. If your handset goes out 3 times for the same issue, they replace it.
- yea it will kill the phone but the microwave will die with it !!!
