Microwave Problems

can I mount a whirlpool microwave on the same bracket as my whirlpool estate was on?

I'm replacing a microwave, and I currently have a whirlpool estate over the range model from 2004. I would like to replace it with a new model, but it is just a plain ol' whirlpool over the range microwave (not estate). Are the mounting brackets universal with that brand, or will I have to hire someone to intall the new microwave? Thanks!

1. Just look and see if the holes line up from the old one to the new one .If you are handy enough to know about these things you can do it. Most of it is all common sense and the electrical is the dangerous part .Look and see what you have and decide weather you want to tackle it or not . If you mess it up its no big deal ,someone can come in after the fact and install it for you .
