Microwave Problems

Whirlpool microwave above range..installed cabinet style is not heating..everything else works on it..what?

1. it's the magnetron. these devices fail pretty regularly... unfortunately. They are pretty pricey too. On lower cost microwave ovens, the replacement magnetron can cost as much as the microwave oven itself. The over the counter models are more expensive so it may be less expensive to repair rather than to replace but probably not by much. sorry.
