How to fix a microwave?

My whirlpool microwave does not heat food. It turns on and everything works except it won't warm food. HELP

1. This is definately not something to be tackled as a diy-er... take it to the repair shop, but it[s probably cheaper to buy a new one
2. You could open it up and check the fuses inside, however I doubt that is the problem since it will turn on and the clock is working. I agree, you should decide on repair or replace. Here's a site that will help you decide: http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/micfaq.htm
3. do not touch the inside of it as this carries a large charge and it holds it there it will kill you if handled wrong your best bet get it in the repair shop or buy a new one
4. Throw it in the garbage. Microwaves are dirt cheap nowadays.
