Would it be safe to microwave yourself for one second?
Considering you had a large enough microwave of course. Just to make sure: I'm not planning to do this in any way; It's just that it has been bothering me for a while what would happen if someone actually did that.

- 1 second ull be safe in a 1000w or less. anything elce. peace out homes
- Yes. The one second of microwave irradiation would not be enough to create much heat from the interaction with the hydrogen atoms of your body.
- That is dangerous, no matter what, so "safe" isnt a word I'd use, but would you survive? Probably. I have read more than one stomach-churning story about crazy drunk drugged-up moms (or dads, or boyfriends...) putting a child or pet into a microwave. (ugh!! freaks!!!) Anyway, I remember one article in particular in which a newborn was microwaved for something like 30 seconds and came away with 3rd degree burns, but survived. So...Safe? NO!! Survival is another story.
