how much water do I add to steam fresh vegetables in a large pampered chef microwavable steamer?

I just bought the large pampered chef steamer for the microwave and I want to steam fresh vegetables in it. How much water do I need to add?

1. Cooking 101: Not more than half cup of liquid - the vegs should be able to breathe on their own. Don't drowned them in liquid. Use chicken broth/veg/other.
