Microwave Problems

i am having whirlpool microwave oven magicook20G(M)(I). I want to know how to preheat it for bakingthe cakes.?

1. You can not preheat a microwave oven. You'd have to find cake recipes that are specifically for use in the microwave. Personally, I would never even consider using a microwave for baking a cake, even if the recipe was specifically for that purpose. I only use my microwave for re-heating leftovers or for my coffee that got cold, and occasionally for steaming broccoli, or par-cooking a squash. Use your oven for baking cakes.
2. What is the entire Model Number? I might be able to find a manual with that information. @ JanetM: A Magicook is a combination microwave/convection oven, so preheating should be possible.
