Microwave Problems

Amana Radarange microwave- problems? manufacture 2006 - "Close Door" ...door already closed?

It has worked with no problems, and then i was trying to make a turkey sandwich and then it kept saying "close door" but the door was already closed, any clues?

1. It is probrably caused by a faulty micro switch in the inside door frame (there are two or three). I once had that problem, so after i unplugged the unit, i removed the cover of the microwave after removing four screws from the back and sides and with a little wrangling, was able to replace the switch. The old one had oil in it and caused it to jam in the 'normally open' position.
